Do you believe God is guiding you throughout life?

i believe in god, but i don't think he is guiding me or making life easier for me.. some see god in every aspect of their lives, and if there is hardship in life, god is behind this so that you can get stronger through this bad experience.. and when things go well, it's god's hand at work..

LIfe presents hardship and good times. You learn (or not) through experience, and you can rely on the experience of others. You can watch what happens to others, and you can guess the best course.

Thats exactly what Satan wants you to think.

I believe God is guiding me and I am a piece of work to deal with. I will always serve him no matter what. As i studied w jw i grew further away from him but i am now renewing my relationship with him. As i read the Bible i do find that many people try to deny God and think for themselves. such is the world today. not a good move imo. Just another devise of Satan. Who is ooh sooo clever. I have had people read the scriptures right in front of me and twist the meaning of them and not get the truth.

Watch out for that transforming angel of light. He dosent care who you worship as long as it is not Jehovah or Jesus.

God will guide us all if we let him.

every f'ing time a brother gives a talk for the youth in my hall in seems he always brings up these two phrases.

I find a lot of good in some of the teachings of the jw but they seem to miss the main points of the Bible. I believe a christian should be separate from the world but our commission is to help others to know and learn about Jesus. Not allowing jw children to have relationships with "worldly" kids is not useful. The jw kids end up doing worst than most kids anyway probably because of the rope wrapped around their necks. I must say there are some kids i dont want my kids hanging around but i have one kid that does exactly what i tell her not to do. I feel bad when i think about how mean i use to be to my kids at the hall. Making them sit still for all that time is not normal for young children. I thought i was doing the right thing. Now the church i go to has nursery's for the children and classrooms for the toddlers where they learn about Jesus on their level. This is wonderful and to see how the youth are flourishing in the church is also a blessing.Nothing is perfect but it dont hurt to try.

So to those of you that are still in Babalonia i urge you to "Get out of her" soon she will perish. why spend another moment there when God is in many places.

somehow, she thinks that i think a lot like god now... i just told her how much it bothers me.

i told her not to correct me, but to trust that jehovah will correct any wrong thinking.... but, i lit into it.

i just went on and on about how horrible it is to think that and my heart isn't made to feel that way... .

I do not believe that only jw will live forever. According to the Bible anyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. God is not a liar.Romans 10:9 tells us how to be saved. I am around people who try to live a Godly life as much as possible. I also try to live a Godly life, trying not to sin but also knowing that my Father in heaven has forgiven me for my sins.

My belief also according to the Bible is that at Armageddon the believers that are still alive will be caught up with the Lord. You know the way Russell had all those Bible students out on that bridge waiting for the Lord to come. I believe this will happen but no one knows the date. We just wait to hear his voice. I do not want to be here when Armageddon comes. Who would want to be here? I hear witness talking about surviving Armageddon but they can stay here if they want to to see all that destructionand death. I'll be where Jesus wants me to be until it is over. Heaven will be a nice place to be. Some will be saved at Armageddon but why not get saved now? Why wait until such a horrible time to call on the Lord. I bet all those intelluctuals will be thinking again then!

i have been waiting to tell everyone the great news, that i will live in paradise, and they will simply die, and that includes there kids.. i love all jws.

commit your life to Jesus Christ and study his word. Become a disciple and spread the Gospel. Read your Bible and find out about Armagaedon. You will not have to fear. Jesus will be with you.

WHAT if we're wrong?

i mean, i know i'm bitter.. normally these days quite strong, not feeling so much so much the last few days though.. what i'd give to do the things i was used to.

going doing the weekly shop with my mum, her popping round for a brew in the morning.. a hug from her, just to to know from the way she communicated with me, that she loved me.

i miss her so much.. and what if i'm wrong?.

im really sorry about your relationship with your mom. does it even soung logical that she would not want to speak to you because you dont believe the same as she. are you going around acting like the Devil himself, or are you a normal person trying to express her free will? Jesus will be the judge as to the right and wrong of the wts. we cant make that call. we may see that it does not suit our needs, those that have left. I dont like being lied to but if you talk to them they think they have the truth. all i can suggest to you is that if you still believe in God to make a commitment to him. Give your life to Christ. Allow him to be your Lord and Savior.

There is a hell and I dont think you want to go there. I hope no one in their right mind on this board wants to go to hell, though some say they dont care. Who wants to be tortured forever and ever? This is a good place to ask WHAT if were wrong about hell? that should be a chance no one would want to take Pray to him and he will help you find your way. If you read the Bible, not the nwt get another translation pray for him to help you to understand it.

faced my husband regarding how i felt and feel that we have met eachother 1/2 way on this - even researched and prepared how to talk to him in a better way (i have a blunt, tactless way of bringing things up - in case you guys didn't notice, lol.

I was a christian before i joined so i went back to the real Jesus and asked for forgiveness and asked for faith and the Holy Spirit. Started reading a new Bible and got my relationship back with God. Joined a couple of churches, well I go to the second one and will visit others, made new friends. People who are very spiritual. Learned that i can do nothing in my own strength. I need Jesus to help me in every aspect of my existence. I dont have self-esteem i have Jesus esteem! I have joined 2 different ministries so far and am interested in doing more. The sky is the limit and beyond. God is involved in my future so there is no telling where he will put me.

tomorrow is one year since nan died, so we're bound to have contact.

I dont know you but i have read your story. it is painful, the things you have mentioned. I hope you still Believe in God and will seek his healing power. Jesus Christ is the answer to all of our problems as long as we have faith in him. I hope that you find peace in his love.

How do you leave?

if you still believe in God find yourself a church and leave. you need time to yourself at first anyway so having no friends in the beginning may be a good thing. it took me a couple of days to find a church to attend and everytime i attend services now i am so grateful and happy that God led me out of the wilderness. i cry at every sunday service mostly at the beginning of church, the worship part singing the songs.I tell myself not to cry but listening to the words of the songs and how they magnify God is so emotional. The witnesses lied to me when they told me there was no where else to go. I cant wait to run into one of them and tell them they are so wrong. Just watching TBN is a blessing. So like i said if you are still a believer you pray to God to help you find your way. He will do just that!

its been a while since i've dwelled on things "religious"...and i guess im due.

im often curious when ppl insisting that a faith is necessary and raise the christian eyebrow at anyone without jesus in their heart.and further, that if i dont have any faith well, it s not they that will judge me its god.

they are not the judges of anyone and they love me after all!

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. He does not change. we must have patience and wait on him. In the meantime we believers will continue to glorify his holy name. We do not live on our time we live on his time.
